History of Azdar Theater
Azdar Theater was founded and formed in 2006 by a number of students from the Department of Theater and Cinema of Kabul University and a member of the Azgh Dezgh Cultural Group from France in Kabul, Afghanistan. The main goal of creating Azdar Theater is to promote culture and social issues, which it has been professionally active in this sector for years, and through this, it has increased the awareness of society.

People and culture
Since theater plays an important role in preserving and developing culture and art, it has played its role well.
The members of Azdar Theater have always believed that theater is a teacher of society and can change and shape the inequalities of society through theater.
During this time, Azdar Theater has presented modern plays, comedies, and dramas to the lower classes whose voices are less heard in society, and has also always raised its voice for the middle and upper classes, children, adolescents, and women of Afghan society.
During this time, the Azdar Theater has endured many ups and downs. In 2014, during the performance (Heartbeat of Silence After the Explosion), an explosion occurred that injured and killed our friends, but the voice of the Azdar Theater will never be silent and will always have a message of peace for the world. This performance begins with a monologue (Enough). That is, an invitation to those who did not want peace.
After the explosion during the performance, the Azdar Theater considered silence to be a shame for itself. The members of the Azdar Theater traveled to India to advance their artistic activities and after a few months of activity, they returned to their homeland.
Azdar was unable to continue their artistic activities for a limited time in Afghanistan because of the people they had seen. So in 2017, with the help of the German National Theater and the Cola Company, they resumed their artistic activities in Germany and, with different actors and directors, presented their art to different segments of Western society on the largest stages in different cities in Germany, France, and Switzerland, and received honors.
